NSCA Ignite

NSCA came to our team and asked me to create either a Prezi or Powerpoint deck based on my team’s assembled copy points. I had used Prezi before, which is particularly powerful in it’s ability to clearly convey long complex storylines, but the budget did not allow for it and I designed the following slide deck in Powerpoint based on graphical patterns and typography which I had previously established when redesigning their site. I relied on strong contrast, clear hierarchy and purposeful animations to emphasize focal points as well as breaking long bits of copy into more slides to make talking points more digestible. To equip their team to follow my design format for future presentations, I created a Powerpoint template file which included embedded fonts, colors, slide layouts and formatting.
